November 2025 Newsletter

5 Points Gallery is proud to present “Susan Woodson: Under the Trees”, an exhibition that explores how light and color shape the sensory experience of being under a canopy. Layered greens, warm earth tones, and flashes of orange and red suggest sunlight, shadow, and the quiet wonder of time in nature. A companion series of vibrant bird paintings, also by Susan Woodson, adds a playful counterpoint to the meditative abstractions.

Please join us for our Third Friday Reception on Friday November 21st from 6 – 9pm, to meet the artist and experience her latest work. Enjoy the works of our ten Triangle-based artists in a range of media including painting, sculpture, fused glass, mixed media, and finely crafted furniture. The exhibition will be on display in our downtown Durham gallery from November 20, 2025 through January 10, 2026.

“Urban Sprawl”, a fused glass and walnut artwork by Teddy Devereux, represents how cities start to spread out into the surrounding countryside, eventually resulting in deforestation.
