May 2024 Newsletter

5 Points Gallery is pleased to feature Chapel Hill artist Ley Killeya’s thought-provoking paintings. Ley will be showing Solitary Women, a collection of new abstract figurative works, each titled with a line from a poem or song lyric, adding deeper narrative meaning.

You will think you are gazing into a clear stream when looking at this diptych by Donna Stubbs. Its clear resinous surface glazes the menagerie of mixed media beneath. Join us for our Third Friday Opening Reception on Friday May 17 from 6 – 9pm where you’ll find a mix of paintings, sculpture, fused glass and mixed media. Our member artists will be on hand to talk about their work. This exhibit will be on display in our downtown Durham gallery from May 17 to June 15, 2024.
