5 Points Gallery is pleased to present “Carolina, or Thereabouts”, a new exhibition of mixed-media paintings by featured artist, Jenny Blazing, exploring the shifting nature of place through observation, memory, and imagination. Grounded in Blazing’s experiences of Carolina, the layered works draw from travel, accumulated visual memories, and unexpected connections that emerge as the paintings evolve to create landscapes that feel familiar without belonging to any single geography. Throughout the gallery, visitors can also enjoy work by our ten Triangle-based artists, offering a refreshing mix of painting, sculpture, fused glass, mixed media, and finely crafted furniture.
