5 Points Gallery is excited to present “Durham Sweet Durham”, a new exhibition of oil paintings by featured artist, Jim McKeon, celebrating the vibrant soul of the Bull City through crisp realism with a dash of fantasy. From historic brick warehouses to the wild banks of the Eno River, familiar Durham landscapes become evocative scenes of memory, community, and place. Throughout the gallery, visitors can also enjoy work by our ten Triangle-based artists, offering a refreshing mix of painting, sculpture, fused glass, mixed media, and finely crafted furniture, with each artist bringing a distinct creative perspective.
Please join us for the Opening Reception on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 6 – 9 pm to meet the artist. Artists will be on hand to discuss their work. “Durham Sweet Durham” will be on display in our downtown Durham gallery from September 17, 2026 through October 10, 2026.
