March 2026 Newsletter

5 Points Gallery invites you to experience the intuitive, layered new work of Annie Nashold, our upcoming featured artist. Rooted in storytelling, her paintings and mixed media pieces weave together narrative portraits, abstracted figures, subconscious drawings, and family archives, allowing stories to unfold organically in imagery that feels both intimate and universal. You are invited to come discover for yourself.

Please join us for our 3rd Friday Reception on Friday, March 20th from 6 – 9 pm where you can view a range of media including painting, sculpture, fused glass, mixed media, and finely crafted furniture by our ten Triangle-based artists. Our artists will be on hand to discuss their work. This exhibition will be on display in our downtown Durham gallery from March 19, 2026 through April 11, 2026.

“Sometimes you notice a moment in the landscape that you never went looking for.” — Jenny Blazing

Jenny Blazing’s new series, “Carolina Happenstance”, explores those unexpected encounters. Rather than the grand vistas we deliberately seek out, these paintings are inspired by fleeting alignments of light, atmosphere and form that briefly arrest our attention and shift our sense of place.
