April 2026 Newsletter

5 Points Gallery is pleased to feature “Cellscapes and Cosmic Visions”, an exhibit by our member artist, Teddy Devereux. Inspired by the idea that stars can look like cells in the sky, her fused glass artworks shimmer with depth and movement, drawing viewers into a space where microscopic forms and distant galaxies seem to echo one another. This exhibition will be on display in our downtown Durham gallery from April 16, 2026 through May 9, 2026.

Please join us for our next Third Friday Reception on Friday April 17th from 6 – 9 pm where you can view a plethora of media including painting, sculpture, fused glass, mixed media, and finely crafted furniture by our ten Triangle-based artists. Artists will be on hand to discuss their work.

Kerry Burch’s painting, “Spring Time” (pictured below), captures the first true exhale of spring — when the landscape is still waking up, and color is beginning to insist. Soft greens push up against dusty pinks and warm ochers, as if the earth is remembering itself in fragments. Each shape feels like a field, a garden plot, or a pocket of life just beginning to stir. You decide!
