Original Nihonga, traditional Japanese-style, mineral- and organic-dye pigments painting by Yuko Nogami Taylor.
The work is inspired by a plant at my new home in Durham.
Painted on the silk and with another layer of gold, the moon is seen through the material, with a shadowbox frame (frosty white). The artwork size is 5h″ x 5w″, and the frame size is 10×10″, 2.5″ thickness.
